Moon Mart Kabab: Exquisite Mediterranean Delights in Glendale

Sir Harry took care of us really good. Food was delicious. We ordered chicken kebab, it was juicy and tender. We also ordered lula sandwich beef, well marinated and flavorful. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. - see you soon sir Harry.

This was my first time having Armenian food in LA, so I don’t have much to compare to (although I used to live in Turkey, and there’s a lot of similarities in their cuisines). They took a long time to make the food, but they were generous with the portions, so I can’t complain. The chicken was tender and not dry, and rice was fluffy and soft. Good for a quick to-go option!

This is one of my favorite restaurants, and my true favorite Armenian restaurant. The beef, chicken, lamb, pork and on occasion fish is always a high quality and fresh. The appetizers are tops. The eggplant, hummus, and potato salad are very flavorful. I don't recall the traditional names, but i always get them and have never been disappointed. Shish kabob, lule kabobs, chicken or beef, and my favorite filet, are seasoned to near perfection. On occasion I will order the lamb chops or pork ribs, they are tasty and again seasoned perfectly. You won't be disappointed in any of the dishes. The owner is attentive and strives to make sure your dining experience lacks for nothing. Highly recommend dining here.

Since I was born, kabob has been my favorite food, full stop. I’ve had kabob all over LA County. They charge you $38 at Raffi’s and Pardis for a kabob barg plate, give you the same amount of meat, and fill the plate with rice. Masis Kabobs’ food has no flavor; they don’t marinate their meat correctly and don’t cook their tomato enough, as it’s always mostly raw. Harry over at Moon Mart Kabob gives you the best kabob, jigar, and abgoosht. If it’s you and a few friends, go over to Moon Mart Kabob, and you’ll realize why it’s so good, in my opinion. He charges you $20 for kabob barg, and he’s such a nice guy that you’ll be really happy eating there and giving him your business—not just because of his niceness, but also because he knows his stuff.

We are so happy we found this place in Glendale. Their food is authentic and amazingly delicious. Their shish kabob, chicken, and lule is the best from the many we have tried over the last five years. The owner, Harry, is such a nice person and it shows in the food he makes.

This is my go-to place to eat kabob. If I could, I would eat here every day. Everything tastes so Delicious, Especially their potato salad. I love it. My son is a picky eater. The first time he tried the food here, he wants to eat it all the time. The owner, Harry, and his wife are such wonderful people. They go out of their way to make sure you have a great time in their restaurant. I'm always telling everyone about this place. Once you try it, you'll never want to eat anywhere else.

We started with the Yogurt and Cucumber dip. It was okay. It was missing something. Basically it tasted bland, like plain yogurt. We then got our entrees. I ordered the Beef Soltani and my wife had the Chicken Soltani. Both were tasty. We both agreed the best skewer was the chicken kabob. Very moist and flavorful. The next was the beef Kabab. Also very tasty. Then the Lulehs. Chicken a bit better than the beef. The service was good, but as they were busy we allowed for some delays. There were only two people running the place. The outside seating is a nice place to relax and sip tea. All in all a good experience.

Had an excellent meal at this small, family-owned Armenian restaurant. The owners were very friendly. Had the soltani plate, ghorme sabzi, and salad shirazi along with yogurt sodas. Would definitely go again.
